What is Ecstatic Dance?
Ecstatic Dance is a free-form movement practice that invites you to explore your body's natural expression through dance. There are no steps to learn, no right or wrong way to move. This space is intended to house freedom of expression, fostering a feeling of safety and inclusivity for each person who joins in our practice.

The Dance Structure
Community Made Mixes
Community members create a one hour dance mix, carefully curated to build and descend over time like an energetic wave, assisting dancers in transitioning into and out of the practice.
Community Circles
Dances are bookended by community circles which provide an opportunity to hear about our fellow dancers, their intentions for the evening, and their experiences during the dance.
Facilitation
Each dance has a scheduled facilitator to guide the practice, introduce the dance, and ensure the space is safe for all. The facilitator is available to help with any concerns or questions.
